Internet & Connectivity Solutions
Internet and connectivity services that support productivity, and provide a robust foundation for digital transformation projects.
Internet & Connectivity
A strong internet connection is the cornerstone of every IT estate. Cloud platforms and collaboration tools, telephone systems and security systems all rely on a resilient and dependable connection with the bandwidth needed to support your businesses’ day-to-day activities.
The importance of a strong and reliable connection further increases when SMEs embark on digital transformation projects. Complex networks, IoT sensors, and bespoke AI models are all demanding technologies that depend on high-bandwidth, low-latency internet to deliver on the promise of enhanced growth and efficiency.
To support productivity, facilitate digital transformation projects and minimise operational risk, we offer a consultative internet and connectivity service that allows us to design and maintain bespoke solutions for businesses across a wide range of sectors.
Balancing performance, resilience and cost, we ensure that our clients always have access to the connectivity needed to maximise productivity. This service is generally supplied alongside network and cybersecurity support, and we frequently support clients in hard-to-reach locations with poor connectivity.
Consultative Connectivity Services
There is no single “best” type of internet connection. The right solution depends on your location, workload, risk tolerance and business needs.
Operating in North East and Central Scotland, we are used to working with clients in isolated locations, and take great care to accurately assess your requirements and options before specifying the most appropriate combination of technologies. Common solutions include:
Physical connections: Leased line, Fibre to the premises (FTTP), fibre to the cabinet (FTTC), and copper connections that provide the high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity needed to grow your business
Satellite connections and other alternatives : 4G/5G, Starlink and point-to-point links that facilitate high-speed internet connectivity in remote or distributed locations, mobile bases and/or a maritime fleet.
Resilience and redundancy: RO2 and secondary lines to provide failover and business continuity so that your day-to-day operations are never interrupted by unplanned outages.
We are used to supporting a wide range of use cases, from broadcasting studios requiring multiple resilient connections, to rural businesses investing in new fibre infrastructure where connectivity has historically been limited. In each case, the focus is on availability, performance and risk mitigation rather than headline bandwidth alone.
While we do not provide line services directly, we act as a trusted advisor. We consult on what you need, organise service provision with appropriate carriers, and manage the process end to end. This is a deliberately consultative engagement: the value lies not in the line itself, but in ensuring that your business gets the robust and well-optimised connection needed to support the rest of your estate.
Enabling Digital Transformation
Although we can provide internet support as a standalone service, it is typically the first step in a broader digital transformation journey; opening the door to modern network architectures, cloud adoption, secure remote working, telephony and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365.
By establishing the right connectivity baseline, organisations can confidently invest in higher-value services including firewalls, endpoint security, managed networks and unified communications. This ensures technology improvements are incremental, coherent and aligned to long-term business objectives rather than reactive fixes.
We also assess the hardware supporting your connection, including routers, firewalls, access points and failover devices to ensure they are fit for purpose, securely configured and capable of supporting current and future demand.

A Proven Service Delivery Model

Our approach to internet and connectivity follows a consistent, field-proven framework:
Starts with a full system audit
An engineer will visit your site to assess your current situation, and understand your business requirements, with a focus on workloads, data requirements and any operational risks. They’ll also work to gather information about your digital transformation strategy. After this initial site visit, we produce a detailed audit document with prioritised recommendations.Specifies appropriate primary and secondary connectivity options
We take a long-term approach to all engagements. Our first priority will be providing a primary connection with the bandwidth needed to support your day-to-day operations, but we’ll also provide recommendations around any secondary or backup connections, or future improvements needed to support your growth ambitions.Coordinates service provision and installation with carriers
We don’t provide line services directly, but we will take ownership of the upgrade process; leveraging decades of combined experience to manage carriers and ensure all work is taken out in a timely, safe and future-proof fashion. We also work with carriers to ensure that your connection is configured properly and delivers the bandwidth you need.Ensures supporting hardware is robust, secure and correctly configured
High-speed, low-latency connections are only useful if the rest of your IT estate is configured correctly. To ensure you can leverage your internet connection properly, we work with you to ensure that routers, switches and other network devices are fit for purpose and configured correctly.- Adapts as your business needs and usage evolves
Bringing in new cloud-based solutions, changing your security set up or introducing on-premise backups will change your connectivity requirements. To ensure that connectivity is always integrated with your network needs, security and cloud strategy we conduct regular reviews designed to keep your foundation relevant.
We take a long-term approach; partnering with clients to deliver a connection that’s fast, reliable, secure and aligned to how your organisation works.
