ITWORX UK Team Gears Up for RunBalmoral 2025 Challenge

The ITWORX UK team is lacing up their running shoes and heading to the beautiful Balmoral Estate later this month, as 10 employees prepare to take on the exciting challenge of the RunBalmoral races on Saturday 26th April.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Royal Deeside, this year’s event promises a weekend full of energy and community spirit. All members of the ITWORX UK team will be tackling the 5K, with some going the extra mile—literally—by also running the Stena Drilling 10K race later in the day.

RunBalmoral is no ordinary race weekend. Known for its welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, the event caters to runners of all ages and abilities, making it a true celebration of health, wellbeing, and scenic Scottish landscapes. The route itself winds through the stunning Highland terrain of the Balmoral Estate, featuring a fast-paced start on smooth tarmac, a challenging climb through the woodlands of Garmaddie, and a thrilling descent back towards the iconic Balmoral Castle finish line.

The idea to get involved came from the ITWORX UK Social Committee, whose goal is to bring employees together in fun, engaging activities outside the workplace. As an employee-owned company, ITWORX UK places great importance on fostering a united and motivated team, and the RunBalmoral event is the perfect opportunity to come together and take part in a fun team challenge!

Luke Grimbley, Customer Success Manager at ITWORX UK and one of the participants, shared his excitement ahead of the event:

“Training has been going really well, and it’s been great to see everyone getting involved and supporting each other. Events like this are such a great way to strengthen our team spirit and take on a challenge together. Plus, running through such an incredible setting like Balmoral Estate is something we’re all really looking forward to!”
